GREAT NORTH INNOCENCE PROJECT
Guest Speakers:  Jim Mayer, Managing Attorney, Hayley Drozdowski-Poxleitner, Director of Communications and Community Outreach

The Innocence Project was founded in 1992 by Barry Scheck and Peter Neufeld at Yeshiva University at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.  Recently renamed GREAT NORTH INNOCENCE PROJECT, its dedicated staff works relentlessly through litigation, education and policy to free the innocent, prevent wrongful convictions and create fair, compassionate and equitable systems of justice for everyone.

Our speakers will share the Project’s enormous success in 2022 and 2023 in advancing cases, outreach, and policy efforts in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.

An Art Tour Inspired by Louise Erdrich’s “The Night Watchman” with Mia Docent David Fortney

Where: Minneapolis Institute of Art, 2400 Third Ave. S., Minneapolismeet at the desk across from the gift shop
Fee: $15 per person; registration is limited to the first 15 respondents

David Fortney has been a docent at the Minneapolis Institiute of Arts since 2005. While giving a wide range of tours, David particularly enjoys book tours. Prior to being retired, he practiced law and was a Human Resources administrator.  (Read More)

Come join the newly formed BOND movie group. Do you love films and would like to have someone to discuss the movie with afterwards?

When: Friday, June 30.
Where: Edina Mann Theater (formerly the Landmark)
What: The film and time (starting between 12:00 and 1:00) will be announced just before the next date.
Fee: $8.50

Eat lunch before coming – snacks are available at the theater. No outside food is allowed.
Attendance will be limited to the first 10 people who respond. No BOND contribution is necessary.
